The use of fertilisers and pesticides in farming has made inroads in the region. As the population is increasing, the pressure to grow more is making the use of chemicals an easy option. Believing in natural farming with a modern approach, Pahel advocates for organic farming practices with the right tools and techniques using natural fertilizers.
Agroforestry
Pahel has distributed over 12,000 tree saplings to farmers in Dharampur and Kaprada. Families owning small plots of land have benefited from the sale of fruits supplementing their income from farming.
